Sistema "Crescent"
O violão “crescent” tem seu braço fixado pelas forças opostas geradas pela tensão das cordas afinadas e um parafuso de regulagem no salto do
braço.
Este sistema (inventado pelo Luthier Johann Stauffer – Viena 1860) permite você ajustar a altura das cordas instantaneamente, girando o parafuso de regulagem em uma das direções. Uma rotação mínima é necessária para alcançar a regulagem desejada. ¼ de volta no sentido horário irá abaixar as cordas e ¼ de volta no sentido anti-horário irá fazer o efeito contrário.
Quando for trocar as cordas nunca remova todas de uma vez. Pelo menos uma corda deve ser deixada afinada enquanto você substitui as demais pelas novas. Este procedimento irá impedir o desalinhamento do braço e a perda da regulagem de altura feita previamente.

The “CRESCENT” guitar has the neck held in place by the opposing forces of the tuned strings and a master bolt placed in the heel of the neck.
This system ( created by Luthier Johann Stauffer- Vienna 1860) allows you to set string action instantly by turning the master bolt in either direction. Very little movement is needed to achieve the desired adjustment. ¼ of a turn clockwise will lower the action and ¼ of a turn counterclockwise will have the opposite effect.
When changing the strings never remove all of them at the same time. At least one string should be left tuned while all others are substituted by new ones. This procedure will avoid neck misalignment and the loss of the previous setting of the string height
